Description
Located in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, Lansdowne is a beautiful and clean hill station situated at an elevation of 1,706 meters above sea level. In my lifetime, I have visited many tourist spots in India, and many tourism sites have been known to me for a long time. This has also been possible because it is part of my business. In my experience, I have not seen a cleaner tourist place than Lansdowne. The cleanliness of this tourist spot is truly praiseworthy. This may be because the entire area is a military camp of the Garhwal Rifles, which is also a stronghold of the Garhwal Rifles. The same purity in maintenance is present in the environment, thanks to the farai chad trees and other wild estates in the hills of Ghatio, which provide harmony, greenery, and scenic surroundings. The snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas and the quiet atmosphere of the affectionate scenes attract tourists' minds. This beautiful hill station was built by the British in 1887. Earlier, this place was known as Callunda. At that time, it was renamed Lansdowne after the Viceroy of India, Lord Lansdowne.

Best Time to Visit Lansdowne
The weather in Lansdowne is beautiful all year round. During the winter months (November to February), the temperature can plummet to 5 to 7 degrees Celsius. Summers (April to June) are pleasant, with highs of roughly 25 degrees Celsius. Lansdowne Hill Station is beautiful during the monsoon season (July to September); however, there is a risk of landslides due to excessive rains.
