Best Time to Visit Andaman Island

October to May is ideal for exploring the islands, with comfortable temperatures and low humidity, making it perfect for outdoor activities. June to September has heavy rainfall and strong winds can limit outdoor activities, making it less ideal for casual tourists. November to February are particularly popular for their pleasant weather, making it a great time to visit with family and enjoy cultural events and water sports. The weather is also pleasant during March to May.

How to Reach Andaman Island

  • By Air - The nearest airport is the Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair. Direct flights are available from major cities like Chennai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, with a travel time of approximately 2 - 2.5 hours.
  • By Sea - For a more adventurous journey, passenger ships operate from Chennai, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam to Port Blair. These trips take about 3-4 days and offer a unique travel experience.
