By Air - Pithoragarh is the nearest airport at 135 km, but flights are
not regular. Pantnagar Airport is 300 km away, and the number of flights here is
increasing. Delhi Airport is also a good option if you want a long trip including other
destinations in Kumaon.
By Rail - Tanakpur and Kathgodam are the nearest railway stations for
Munsiyari. Both are approximately a 7-hour drive from Munsiyari. Many tourists prefer
Kathgodam due to other nearby hill stations.
By Road - Munsiyari can be reached from Delhi by multiple routes. The
route via Delhi - Ghaziabad - Bazpur - Nainital - Almora - Binsar - Bageshwar -
Munsiyari is approximately a 590 km drive. Another route is Delhi - Khatauli - Kashipur
- Ramnagar - Ranikhet - Dwarahat - Bageshwar - Munsiyari, which is 560 km but less
preferred. Pithoragarh is 135 km, Almora is 200 km, and Tanakpur is 285 km away.
